Sunday June 27th 2pm Coots Lake Silver Comet Trail Trailhead.
Please arrive earlier to get your gear loaded in the transport vehicle, I'd like to roll close to the posted time. Most of us are planning on riding up, please bring some work shoes. Work shoes can be carried in a backpack or carried up in the truck.

Bring your push broom (stiff nylon, not dust brooms) or squeegee. Flat-nose shovel to shovel the mud and/or 5 gal bucket to haul the mud. Figure we will need at least 6-8 broomers to create a moving wall of water/mud (slurry) and drive it out the west tunnel entrance.

Mr Ashley, the Coots Trail Ranger has offered to help and should be able to bring gear up to the Polk line. If there's a problem I can make multi-trips with my bike trailer.

The tunnel is much improved, we are planning to finish getting the mud out that was missed in the last clean-up and clearing some of the drains.

"...they worked hard and made a difference."
